These 12 leads consists of two sets of ECG leads: limb leads and chest leads. The chest leads may also be referred to as precordial leads. This article will discuss the ECG leads in detail and no prior knowledge is required. Se hela listan på nl.ecgpedia.org Leads V5 & V6 are placed on the left side of the chest. You can see the lateral territory on both sides of the EKG – or wrapping “all the way around” the EKG! That’s the basics…and this is how it looks when you put anatomy and territories together on an ECG: ISCHEMIA VS INFARCT 2011-10-04 · In view of this patient’s presentation (ie, chest pain) – the most important finding on this tracing is the subtle appearance of Q waves with slight but definite ST segment coving and elevation in leads V1 and V2. T wave inversion in these two leads is an expected accompaniment of RBBB – but the ST segment elevation is not. ECG van een hoog-lateraal infarct.

The LMCA is short and branches into the two arteries supplying the anterior and left side of the heart, as follows: The left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD). LAD Occlusion Often Presents Without Reciprocal Changes Acute anterior STEMI tends to be a more difficult ECG diagnosis than acute inferior STEMI. That’s because with acute inferior STEMI there’s almost always a downsloping ST-segment in lead aVL to help shore up the diagnosis. LAD Occlusion Signaled by Ominous ECG Figure 1.
